The authorities in Phoenix reported on Monday morning that a blaze had engulfed multiple homes that were in the process of being built.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, a team was sent out at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday to battle a building fire located near 59th Avenue and Baseline Road.
When firefighters arrived to the scene, multiple houses in a newly built residential area were completely consumed by fire.
A team of 75 firefighters from seven different cities worked together to combat the fire, which continued burning until early Monday morning.
According to authorities, the crew worked throughout the night to put out any remaining hotspots by laying supply lines and extending hose lines at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The Task Force for Phoenix Fire Investigation is in the process of determining the origin of the fire. At this time, officials have not been able to establish the number of homes that were impacted by the blaze.
