Three Chilean Individuals Arrested In Connection to Burglaries in Scottsdale

The Scottsdale Police Department has apprehended three additional individuals connected to the South American Theft Groups (SATG) who have been involved in illegal theft activity, targeting various communities in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, and Paradise Valley.

The recent arrests took place when law enforcement officials noticed questionable behavior in the north Scottsdale area near Pima and Yearling roads between 8:40 p.m. on Sunday and 6:30 a.m. on Monday.

A female suspect, identified as Grecia Romanduski Gaete Castillo, was apprehended by authorities on Sunday evening for allegedly driving a vehicle out of a residential area. The 32-year-old individual is originally from Chile.

On Monday morning, police officers arrested two men in the desert near Pima and Jomax roads while searching the area using a helicopter. The suspects have been identified as Sebastian Jesus Parraguez Soto, 23 years old and originally from Santiago, Chile, and an unnamed 17-year-old male, also from Santiago, Chile.

According to law enforcement, the individuals who were apprehended were not carrying any weapons during the time of their capture. They have all been processed and placed in the Scottsdale Police Jail for charges related to conspiracy and burglary.

The Scottsdale PD is currently investigating whether these three cases are linked to any previously documented cases in the area.
