Let’s face, finding the best fitting perfect basic T-shirt can be a challenge. There are so many options, but often times it is a bit like goldilocks, too snug, too short, not thick enough. And let us not forget that bothersome tag in the back.
Almost 1 year ago, Dallas influencer Daryl-Ann Denner launched her brand “Nuuds” in an attempt to solve the challenge of finding the ideal t-shirt by launching her premium, elevated basics apparel label.
Over the years Denner has gained a significant social media following of 2 million on Instagram by sharing details of her daily routine. She is also known as one of the biggest influencer on the platform.
In 2015, Denner began her journey as a blogger, with a strong focus on fashion and outfits. At the time, Denner worked as a high school chemistry teacher during the day, and in the evenings, she would post about her outfits on Instagram. While doing so gained quite a following.
Once Denner’s audience grew and more branding deals came her way, she left her job in order to have more quality time with her family. Once her she son was born, it became increasingly challenging for her to maintain a flawless and carefully crafted lifestyle. And she grew tired of attempting to maintain that Instagram “flawless and carefully crafted” image. Denner chose to be authentic and genuine.
In 2019, Denner embraced her favorite T-shirt-and-jeans style and from that not only did her fan base grow rapidly, but it sparked a natural desire for Denner to create her own brand of comfortable , stylish yet simple everyday clothing. The idea was to offer elevated versions of basic essentials in basic tone color offerings.
Nuuds is a brand that specializes in high-quality, premium basics designed to fit all body types, regardless of size.
While Denner admitted she lacked knowledge about the clothing manufacturing industry, she had a clear understanding of what she wanted – a top-notch, comfortable fit for real bodies.
According to Nuuds’ co-founders, Denner and her husband Daniel, collaborating with her family is a highlight of her career. Within her own family, Denner utilizes a variety of sizes to ensure that the clothing would fit real bodies.
According to the mother of two, she expressed her intention to tackle the genuine concerns that people face while shopping for clothing. Ultimately, if the clothing does not fit well, you will not feel comfortable wearing it.
The Nuuds brand offers a variety of clothing items such as basic T-shirts, bodysuits, and tank tops, full set sweats, pajamas and sweaters. These pieces come in different shades including white, bone, coffee, chocolate and mocha.
According to Denner, the retail company based in Dallas, Texas, now has 26 employees and is rapidly growing. Customers can purchase clothing items through their official website or at a variety of different pop-up shops that they schedule around the country.
This weekend, Nuuds will be rolling up in their sales mobile and welcoming Arizonans to shop their goods at Quarters in Scottsdale.
