Gilbert Indicts Suspect Allegedly Involved In Assault Of Minor

Officials announced on Monday that a man from Arizona who was believed to have assaulted a teenager in Gilbert in the previous year has been formally charged.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, a minor was the target of an assault in August 2023, allegedly initiated by 18-year-old Aris Michael Arredondo.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (MCAO), the altercation initiated by Arredondo resulted in harm to the underage victim. However, the severity of the injuries sustained by the minor was not disclosed by authorities.

Arredondo is facing charges for the robbery that occurred on August 18 outside of an In-N-Out Burger near Williams Field Road and Market Street. He is the second individual to be indicted in connection with the incident.

Christopher Fantastic, 18, has also been charged for his potential involvement in the assault.

Fantastic is also being accused of being involved in a May 29, 2023 assault that included approximately 30 to 40 individuals under the age of 18.

According to court records, additional individuals were implicated in the Gilbert assault, although none have been named as perpetrators as of Monday evening.
