Phoenix Firefighter Accused of Assaulting Scottsdale Officer At Hospital
A City of Phoenix firefighter has been charged with assault after a confrontation with a Scottsdale police officer
Around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, Christina Leon, 33, was arrested after allegedly assaulting a Scottsdale officer at the HonorHealth Osborn Hospital near Old Town Scottsdale.
Details have not yet been released about what led up to the incident. Leon was off-duty at the time of the arrest. She also later assaulted a detention officer.
Officers booked Leon into Scottsdale city jail and she was later taken to the Maricopa County jail. Phoenix Fire told Scottsdale authorities are now conducting an internal investigation.
