Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival Scheduled at the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale
As we all long for a little bit of Fall weather around this time, an event announcement offers us a glimmer of hope that our Fall cooler weather is on the horizon.
This October, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale will host a Halloween-themed balloon festival that promises fun and lots of activities for all ages.
Tickets are now available for the 10th Annual Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival on Oct. 29-30 at the sports complex at 7555 N. Pima Road. The event, which runs from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night
The event features their popular costume contests, more than 20 hot air balloons and tethered balloon rides. There is a free kids zone that offers more than 30 slides, inflatable bounce houses, and an obstacle course.
It is estimated that 4,000 pounds of candy will be handed out at festival, with each hot air balloon a special a trick-or-treat designated.
Additional fun amenities will include live music, a haunted trail, food and beverage options, market vendors and the evening will conclude with a fireworks display.
