Man Crashes Into Wall After Shooting

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating an incident that involved a man crashing his car into a block wall after he was involved in a fight that ended in a shooting.

Early Tuesday morning, officers responded to reports of theft near 21st Street and Palm Lane, north of McDowell Road. Reportedly two men got into a fight that escalated into a shooting. One of those men attempted to drive off but crashed their vehicle into a block wall.

According to information, one person died during the incident. The extent of any other injuries has not yet been released and Phoenix police have not yet reported if anyone was detained or arrested.

The incident is under investigation.
