But what about the in between, when you’re looking for something new? There’s a little bit of everything in Tempe, so go down this list and hit those hidden gems you haven’t. Who knows, maybe you’ll go home with a new favorite go-to spot!

Alibi
108 E University Dr, Tempe

With incredible views of Downtown Tempe, this rooftop bar draws inspiration from tropical coasts from all over the world for their specially curated menu. If you’re looking for a tropical getaway, Alibi is the perfect oasis that transports you to that escape. Sip your drink in paradise while lounging poolside.

GLOW Shots and Cocktails
414 S Mill Avenue, Suite 215, Tempe

As Mill Avenue’s first shot bar, GLOW has an extensive dance floor to allow you to break down to their featured DJ of the night. The glowing lights offset the darkened room, creating that perfect night out atmosphere. If you’re looking to plan a bachelorette party or just a wild night out, GLOW brings you Hunk-O-Mania on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 – 9 p.m. Afterwards, from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. GLOW turns into your classic, lively nightclub.

The Golden Pineapple

This craft lounge brings a relaxed vibe to Tempe. With a menu featuring globally inspired comfort food, The Golden Pineapple also has a large menu filled with a variety of drinks. All the added toppings to your beverage make for that picture perfect post. Some toppings include little dinosaur figurines, jelly skulls, drink umbrellas, curly straws, and more!

The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen
26 S Farmer Ave, Tempe

Your favorite hunting or fishing lodge has been brought to Tempe for you! Walking in, you’ll be transported into a woodsy wonderland. Cozy up next to the stone fireplace or watch your favorite teams play from one of their 30 4K HDTV’s.

With their beamed ceilings, two pine log bars, and signature antler chandeliers, their goal is to make you feel like you’re on a vacation in the woods. Some items on their menu include their Lodge Lager and Sasquatch Burger.

Rodeo Ranch
501 S Mill Ave #101, Tempe

Bringing some country into Tempe, Rodeo Ranch has a mechanical bull in the middle of their ‘adult playground.’ See which of your friends can hold on the longest while also enjoying their bottle service, arcade games, DJs, and light show. With lots of Texas-inspired accents, you’ll find cowhead and leather benches, animal trophy heads scattered throughout the walls, and a light hanging above the bar made from a rustic horse trough and Edison light bulbs.

Rodeo Ranch was brought to you by Reign Group, a Dallas-based restaurant group. They’ve also opened up Varsity Tavern and Chubby’s.

Calling all beer lovers! With a laid back vibe and walls filled with unique murals, enjoy their tasting room and beer garden. If the weathers nice, take your drink outside to enjoy on their patio. Various food trucks set up shop outside, so between their lengthy craft beer list, and whatever food trucks have come that day, there’s always something new to try!

Snakes & Lattes

If you’re a board game lover, Snakes & Lattes is a must! Established in 2010, there are currently four locations in Canada and three in the US that have all been built around the same passion; board games. There is also a full menu of food and drinks. Admission fee into the bar grants you access to their public library of games that includes everything from your favorite classics to new, modern games. Visit Sunbar’s patio bar and grill! This award winning 7,000 square-foot bar has a beautiful outdoor boho vibe and is perfect for anyone who likes house music. Sunbar is also a great brunch spot. Every Saturday and Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. they have their famous Penny Champagne Brunch. If you’re looking for bottomless mimosas, there’s no other place with a deal nearly as good as this one. They also have 45 beers on draft. Sunbar is perfect for both a relaxing brunch, and dancing the night away as the DJ plays under the lights.

Taste of Tops
403 W University, Tempe

Located inside of Tops Liquors, you get a liquor store and bar all in one. Their bar offers 30 rotating craft taps, 600 bottles/cans of craft beer, 20 by-the-glass wines, and Growlers and Growler filling. Try out different beers and purchase your favorites all in one place.
