City of Phoenix To Resume Water Service Shut-Offs in February

On Monday, the City of Phoenix Water Services announced plans for the department to resume water service shut-off in February for customers that are 31 days past due on their accounts.

In March 2020, the Phoenix City Council voted to restore water service to all residential customers regardless of their account status due to the toll the pandemic had taken on the residents. Nearly two years later, that relief will now come to an end.

The City of Phoenix is offering different financial assistance programs for those who qualify.
