Lights, camera, action! Have you ever wanted to be on a reality show? A Phoenix-based talent agency is looking to create a reality show called ‘Scottsdale.’

A casting search is underway for 21- to 40-year-old Arizonans to star in “game-changing” digital shows that are slated to appear on a new online platform.

“We are looking for stylish, driven, outgoing, big personalities for a new reality series in the spirit of ‘The Hills’ and ‘Selling Sunset’ (that) follows a group of friends who live, work and party in the desert oasis of Scottsdale, Arizona,” said Seekr Agency founder Isabella Wilkey.

The working title for the Arizona show is “Scottsdale.” “Scottsdale” would be a long-form show that would be available on an upcoming platform called Social Fork.

Social Fork, which plans to launch in beta in Phoenix with 10 pilot episodes in the coming months, will open to the public in October. Its website promises “game-changing content” and “a full slate of original shows designed to showcase the best experiences every city has to offer.”

Another long-form show called “Last Call” that would follow staff working at trendy restaurants and nightlife venues is also in the works. “It’s good content designed to help local businesses connect with consumers on a different level,” Wilkey said.

How to Attend the Casting Event

The casting is asking that applicants be local to the Phoenix market, but is open to anybody, you do not have to have a lot of experience, they are looking for fresh new faces.

The agency is holding a casting call on Saturday, June 12 at 10 a.m. on at FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel – 1100 N. Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix.

They have already received more than 750 responses.

Casting agents are finalizing the last available audition times and will reach out to those interested in the order their submissions were received. If you attend the casting, be respectful of the COVID protocols and they ask that you have a scheduled appointment to prevent long waiting times. They will not accept walk-ins.

According to a press release, Seekr will be casting for more than 60 new projects in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Dallas,  Austin, Nashville and Atlanta.

“This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get consistent camera time on a creative platform,” Wilkey said. “The positions are paid.”
