5 Places In Arizona To Ice Skate This Holiday Season

Get in the holiday spirit by lacing up your skates at one of these five ice skating rinks in the Valley and grab a cup of hot chocolate to warm up afterward.

CitySkate
Try ice skating in the middle of Downtown Phoenix at CitySkate. Spend the time skating around the large Christmas tree, or take a break and grab a cup of hot chocolate to keep you warm. Be sure to go on the weekend if you want a chance to tell Santa what’s on your Christmas list!

Information: $15 per person, includes skates.

Westgate Entertainment District
Enjoy the outdoor ice rink at Westgate Entertainment District, just adjacent to State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Don’t forget to visit Santa while you’re there or take your furry friend to snap a photo with him on select days. You can also go on a free horse-drawn carriage ride if you decide to go on the weekend.

Information: $16 including skates, $13 without a skate rental.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
Spend time at the resort’s holiday wonderland, complete with a 6,000-square-foot ice skating rink. While you’re there, check out the light show in the Enchanted Plaza, the Princess Express Train, S’mores Land, and more.

Information: $25 per person and $7 for skate rental.

Merry Main Street
Downtown Mesa will have outdoor ice skating just outside the City Plaza this holiday season. There are many other activities on Merry Main Street like a Polar Express ride and the chance to visit Santa. While at the park, catch a holiday movie and stop by to see the four-story tall Christmas tree.

Schnepf Farms
Schnepf Farms turns into a winter wonderland during the holidays, featuring an outdoor ice-skating rink, snow globe mini golf, and a hayride to visit Rudolph. Admission also includes a meet and greet with Santa Claus himself and cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus.

Information: $15 admission online or $18 at door, add $7 per person to ice skate.
