Phoenix Police Officer Arrested In Ongoing FBI Investigation

An FBI investigation is currently underway for a Phoenix police officer regarding severe illegal actions.

On Friday, the Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a Phoenix police officer had been arrested due to their involvement in an ongoing FBI investigation.

The Phoenix Police Department has not provided details on the reason for the officer’s arrest or the nature of the investigation, however, they have stated that it involves “serious criminal acts.”

The department has also not disclosed the identity of the officer.

It has been reported that the investigation allegedly is due to a child porn investigation. The officer was reportedly with the Mountain View precinct.
In a statement, the Phoenix PD expressed their recognition of the significance of upholding public trust and reassured the community that they are committed to addressing these issues with great care and honesty. “The Department took immediate action upon learning of the investigation due to the gravity of the allegations. We have initiated the disciplinary process, up to and including termination of the officer, in accordance with the due process rights afforded to public employees. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and understand that incidents like this can erode public trust. We are committed to rebuilding that trust through our actions and ongoing dedication to serving and protecting our community,” the released statement read.
