People in Maricopa County are showing off their artistic skill and love of Arizona — you could wind up rocking some of their work at the ballot box this November!

An artistic contest is underway with the Maricopa County Elections department that will determine the fate of the ultimate winners of a very special voting opportunity.

The finalists have been announced in the Maricopa County Recorder top 10 finalists for the office’s two “I Voted” sticker contests.

“The submissions we received were all incredible,” Recorder Richer said. “It’s exciting and touching to see so many people share their talents to help make voting in Maricopa County even more exciting.”

Voting is open from now until Sunday, April 7 at midnight. The winners will be announced on Monday, April 8.

One winner will be selected from each contest, meaning there will be two original designs: one from the youth contest and one from the adult contest. These winning designs will be added to Maricopa County’s six existing sticker designs.

Not only will the winner of the youth contest have their design used as one of this year’s official “I Voted” stickers, but they will also receive a pizza party for one of their classes where they will get to pass out their sticker to their classmates.

“I am so grateful for all who submitted a design and I look forward to seeing which stickers win!” Recorder Richer added.

Be sure to get your vote in, you could end up wearing your favorite after your vote at the ballot box this November!
