Car Fatally Strikes Phoenix Woman Found Lying On Road

According to authorities, a female was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle while lying on the road on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., authorities in Phoenix were called to the scene near 12th Street and Campbell Avenue.

According to authorities, while conducting their investigation, it was discovered that the woman was lying on the road at the time of the collision.

The local hospital admitted the woman and she was later declared deceased.

Authorities reported the driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and there is no suspicion of impairment.
