Head-On Crash Kills Flagstaff Parents, Their Three Children Survive

A tragic accident in Northern Arizona has left a family destroyed.

Greg Cox and his wife Lindsey Watson were traveling by car on vacation with their three kids leaving Flagstaff headed to the San Juan River when a semi-truck attempting to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone, crashed head-on into their car.

This accident occurred on Highway 160 near Kayenta, about two and a half hours outside Flagstaff. Both parents died at the scene. Two of their three children were flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where they are now recovering.

Lindsey Watson was a NAU graduate and worked as an acupuncturist. Her husband, Greg Cox was a physician assistant at Flagstaff Medical Center.

The accident has been a huge shock to Flagstaff. The Flagstaff community is coming together to support the children in their time of need.

DPS reports detail that the semi-truck driver was not arrested or cited, however the investigation remains open. Friends and family have created a GoFundMe account.
