Picklemall Bringing 24-Indoor Court Facility To Arizona Mills This July

The Pickleball craze is growing and coming to a mall near you.

Picklemall will debut at Arizona Mills Mall this summer. The 24-court indoor pickleball facility will open in Tempe in July, will feature 104,000-square-foot space and be open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

“Arizona, with its hot temperatures that can drain the city’s energy in the summer, presents an exciting opportunity for Picklemall to ignite joy and cultivate friendly competition in a safe, cool and familiar environment,” CEO West Shaw said in a press release.

Players will be able to log onto the Picklemall app, which will allow users to schedule a game, set a playtime and record their performance. The app will be launched soon and will be compatible with iPhone and Android devices.

Picklemall will offer equipment rental and will be open for normal play, leagues, and tournaments.

According to the Association of Pickleball Professionals, pickleball grew 35% from August 2022 to March 2023. The current demands have outpaced facility infrastructure and this new development will allow access for more players.

The expansion of Picklemall locations include opening 50 locations nationwide in the next 24 months. New locations are planned in the coming months for Dallas, Chicago, Tulsa, San Antonio, and Milwaukee. All locations are slated to be placed in existing indoor malls.
