A new owner is not the only changes happening in the Phoenix Suns organization.

The Phoenix Suns completed a massive trade Wednesday night, acquiring 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.

Durant, 34,  is averaging nearly 30 points per game this season. Although is he is currently recovering from a ligament strain in his right knee, but he is expected to return soon.

The Nets reportedly will receive Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, 4 first-round draft picks and a pick swap for Kevin Durant and T.J. Warren.

In the trade, Phoenix will send Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks and additional draft compensation to the Nets. The Suns also receive forward T.J. Warren in the deal.

Suns receive:
Kevin Durant
T.J. Warren

Nets receive:
Mikal Bridges
Cam Johnson
Jae Crowder
4 1st-round picks
2028 pick swap

The trade comes just hours after new Suns majority owner Mat Ishbia was announced. While the Phoenix Suns have come close to a NBA championship, they have never been able to get the coveted title. The Suns made the Finals two seasons ago, but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. They also played in the Finals in 1976 and 1993.

The foursome of Booker, Durant, Paul, and Ayton may be the formula to turn the franchise into title contenders once again.
