A Central Phoenix staple is set to close.

Rosie McCaffrey’s Irish Restaurant and Pub will serve their final beers this weekend after 20 years, owners said. The popular pub located on Camelback Road, near Seventh Street recently announced they will close the doors for good Saturday.

Seamus McCaffrey made the announcement this week on social media.

“On behalf of myself and my family, we would like to thank all the great Rosie’s staff, bands, and the distributors we’ve had over the years. We also want to give a big thank you to all the loyal customers for making it possible to own this establishment,” McCaffrey wrote. “We are forever grateful for all the memories!”

Rosie McCaffrey’s Irish Restaurant and Pub was known for their dining, focusing on Irish food, drinks, live music and sports on TV.
Customers commented on the pub’s Facebook page, thanking McCaffrey for good times they experienced at the pub over the years.

Rosie’s hours are 11 a.m. until midnight.
The Dubliner, which opened near 40th Street and Thunderbird Road in 1984, and Seamus McCaffrey, which opened near Central Avenue and Van Buren Street in 1991, will continue to operate.
