The Madison Elementary School District Governing Board recently voted to enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Kimberly Guerin, to serve as the Madison Elementary School District next superintendent.

Guerin currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for the Scottsdale Unified School District. Once contract negotiations are finalized, the board is expected to approve Guerin as the next superintendent effective July 1, 2022. The board has evaluated three highly qualified candidates in the process.

Guerin has a long history of qualified experience which makes her an excellent candidate for Madison. Prior to her current role, Guerin served the Paradise Valley Unified School District as the assistant superintendent of leadership – elementary, director of elementary education, assistant director of curriculum and principal of Echo Mountain Elementary School.

Guerin is very familiar with the area and school district. She has grown up in the Valley. Her husband Jeff is a Madison alumnus. Together they have two children.

Dr. Guerin will replace Dr. Kenneth Baca, Madison’s current superintendent has plans to retire at the end of this school year after four years of service to the district.
