Ripley’s Believe It or Not is bringing a picture of Albert Einstein made entirely out of toast and its other zany exhibits to Scottsdale next month.

The Science of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will open at the Arizona Boardwalk on Feb. 9 and run through the summer of 2022, replacing the Titanic artifact exhibit on the second floor of the facility, according to a press release.

Known for its attractions around the world and popular books, the Scottsdale Ripley’s exhibit will offer oddities like a statue of the world’s tallest man that people can measure up against, a calf with two faces, a megalodon shark jaw and a Rolls Royce made out of matchsticks.

Other things to see include a prehistoric snake that young children can crawl through and micro-sculptures that can fit in the eye of a needle.

Tickets can be bought on-site for $21.95 for adults ($16.95 for children ages 2-12) or online for $19.95 for adults and $14.95 for children.

The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to  7 p.m. daily, with the last entry time for guests being 45 minutes before closing.

“The Science of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is a fantastic exhibition combining unbelievable world oddities with real science,” Ran Knishinsky, chief marketing officer and managing partner at Arizona Boardwalk, said in the release.

“We are thrilled to offer this fun and engaging family-friendly exhibition that will not just entertain our guests but is likely to spark their imaginations and teach them something new about the extraordinary.”

Jim Pattison Jr., president of Ripley Entertainment Inc., said in the release the Scottsdale exhibit is a chance to introduce the brand to an entirely new audience.

“It’s colorful, exciting, bursting with family fun and very hands-on,” Pattison Jr. said.

Ripley’s, which started as a cartoon strip in 1918, has exhibits in 13 states and eight different countries along with three aquariums.

A version of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! exhibition was last in Arizona in 2014 at the Arizona Science Center.
