Old Town Scottsdale is about to get some southern flair with the opening of a new Nashville-themed bar and restaurant on Dec. 12, according to a press release on Friday.

Belle’s Nashville Kitchen, located near Main Street and Scottsdale Road, promises to bring the taste of Music City to the Valley of the Sun.

The menu features iconic choices like a hot chicken sandwich with house fried chicken doused in spices on a brioche bun with coleslaw and dill pickles, along with other favorites jambalaya, spicy barbecue sauce-baked salmon and fries topped with bacon, hot sauce, house-made blue cheese and green onions.

Alcohol options include a mixology-forward cocktail program with an array of whiskey and bourbon craft cocktails along with tequila, mezcal, rum and vodka variations.

Award-winning chef Samantha Roberts, behind other Scottsdale favorites El Hefe Mexican Restaurant, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and Riot House, developed the menu, according to the release.

The locally-owned and operated honkytonk-themed bar and restaurant will kick things off with a Honky Tonk brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring an acoustic guitarist from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. leading to a happy hour guitarist from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tableside whisky tasting will occur from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with happy hour specials occurring all day with other specials and activities.

Belle’s Nashville Kitchen will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The restaurant’s name pays homage to the popular Lulu Belle’s restaurant and watering hole that operated in the location from the 1950s to the 1990s, according to the release, with the original arch and vintage back bar remaining in place.
