New Phoenix Luxury Hotel Now Backed by Some Superstars

Sam Fox has put together his all-star team for his latest business venture that is already the buzz in the is a Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood.

Fox who has built a very successful restaurant business, with more than 100 restaurants throughout the United States is building The Global Ambassador hotel which is set to open 2023. For this project, he has assembled three celebrities who all have ties to Arizona.

Fox has partnered with Phoenix Suns basketball star Devin Booker, former Arizona Cardinals football star Larry Fitzgerald and country star Dierks Bentley who have all signed on and are now investors in his new hotel project.

The Global Ambassador located at 44th Street and Camelback Road, will be a 141-room luxury hotel that sits at the gateway of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley and will have stunning views of Camelback Mountain. The development is in the heart of the Grove, a 15-acre, $300 million development that is presently under construction. The hotel is being developed under Fox’s new company, Author & Edit Hospitality.
The luxury hotel will have a wellness center that will include a fitness center and high-end spa. The Global Ambassador will highlight Fox’s specialty, incredible restaurants, and will include five new restaurants.


The European Market & Café will provide a casual eatery designed after a Parisian cafe and will offer coffee and pastries in the morning and wine, cheese, and tapas in the afternoon. The hotel’s signature restaurant will be a Parisian Steakhouse. The Poolside Restaurant will serve American classics and the hotel’s true gem will be an 18,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant overlooking Camelback Mountain, that will serve Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Moroccan dishes.
