A New Mexico resident set off on a scheduled trip to Peoria from New Mexico and hasn\u2019t been seen since the Fourth of July. Police are asking for the public\u2019s help after new leads have developed.<\/p>\n
Craig Cavanaugh left Farmington, New Mexico on July 4th<\/sup> to head to a job site in Peoria. Records show that Cavanaugh was confirmed at the Mazatazal Hotel and Casino in Payson before his was phone turned off. According to police, Cavanaugh was driving a 2012 Toyota Tacoma with license plate 4FR5994.<\/p>\n In their investigation, Farmington police out of New Mexico have two suspects in Cavanaugh\u2019s disappearance. Surveillance photos show two men at a Home Depot using 44-year-old Craig Cavanaugh\u2019s credit cards the day after he went missing. Nearly two weeks later, his community is concerned.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were able to trace [Cavanaugh\u2019s] phone to Payson, but we haven\u2019t been able to trace it since,\u201d said Georgette Allen with the Farmington Police Department.<\/p>\n Detectives are now taking a closer look at the two men seen on surveillance at a Home Depot in Glendale. The two men also made purchases with his card at a Maverick gas station in Payson and a QuikTrip in Peoria between the dates of July 5 and July 7. Police are pursuing an investigation on how the two suspects in the video\u00a0at Home\u00a0Depot are involved in Cavanaugh\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n \u201cRight now, we\u2019re not ruling anything out,\u201d Allen said. \u201cWe got a few more tips that rolled in since posting, needing to identify the individuals using his credit cards. We\u2019re following up on those tips.\u201d<\/p>\n Cavanaugh is described as 5\u201911\u201d, 220 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Farmington Police\u2019s Facebook post on the two men of interest has been shared at least 15,000 times, many by Arizonans that are trying to help.<\/p>\n \u201cSince we\u2019ve posted it last night, it\u2019s reached approximately 600,000 people,\u201d Allen said. \u201cWe appreciate everyone sharing it.\u201d<\/p>\n Police are encouraging anyone with information on Cavanaugh\u2019s whereabouts to contact Detective K.
