Local First Arizona’s Fall Festival Returns to Phoenix for Its 20th Anniversary

If you love shopping local, trying new food, and discovering Arizona businesses, mark your calendar for November 7. Local First Arizona’s Certified Local Fall Festival is returning to Margaret T. Hance Park for its 20th anniversary.

The free festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will bring more than 250 Arizona businesses together for a full day of shopping, food, drinks, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. It is also one of the best opportunities to discover local businesses you may not have come across yet.

A Celebration of Arizona Businesses

For two decades, the Fall Festival has connected Arizona shoppers with locally owned businesses. This year’s event will feature a mix of handmade goods, artisan products, food, drinks, gifts, and local services.

The Festival Marketplace will give attendees plenty of opportunities to browse vendor booths and discover new favorites. Confirmed vendors include Changing Hands Bookstore, Stinkweeds Record Store, O.H.S.O. Brewery, Wren House Brewing Co., Fairytale Brownies, Cowtown Skateboards, Samurai Comics, Zia Records, Arizona Wilderness Brewing, and SanTan Brewing + Distilling.

Food, Drinks, and Live Music

The festival is also expanding its Beverage Garden this year. More than 30 Arizona breweries, wineries, and distillers will be represented, along with a selection of local food options.

Guests can grab a drink, try something from a local restaurant, and enjoy live music throughout the day. Longstanding Phoenix favorites will also offer special promotions, including Spinato’s Pizzeria, which will serve pizza slices and give attendees a chance to win gift cards and prizes.

Something for the Whole Family

The Fall Festival goes beyond shopping and food. The Localist Activity Zone will offer activities for all ages, including kite making, bubble soccer, musical chairs, and disposable cameras.

Kids can also explore the festival’s entrepreneurship zone, which will feature two dozen businesses created by Arizona’s next generation of entrepreneurs.

Pet owners can bring their four-legged friends to Bark Park, a dedicated dog-friendly area with a hydration station, dog treat vendors, photo opportunities, and local rescue organizations offering dog adoptions.

Art, Culture, and Community

The festival will also highlight the people and culture that make Arizona’s local community unique.

Mr. Downtown Phoenix will lead a 24-foot live community mural, giving attendees the chance to contribute to the artwork throughout the day. Fuerza Local and Amor Collective will also host a special Mercado celebrating Latino entrepreneurs, culture, food, and community.

Other activations include Cowtown Skateboards, Harkins Theatres, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Liberty Wildlife, Arizona State Parks and Trails, and Arizona Broadway Theatre.

Save the Date

Local First Arizona’s Certified Local Fall Festival takes place Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Margaret T. Hance Park, located at 67 W. Culver St. in downtown Phoenix.

With more than 250 local businesses, plenty of food and drinks, live entertainment, family activities, and new ways to explore the local community, the 20th anniversary festival offers plenty of reasons to spend a Saturday supporting Arizona businesses.
