Phoenix business leader Jessica Pacheco has launched Pacheco Ventures, a new strategic advisory firm built to serve executives, athletes, organizations and innovators across Arizona and beyond. The firm expands on the legacy of Horizon Strategies, where Pacheco previously served as CEO, and reflects more than three decades of experience across business, energy, public policy and community leadership.
A New Advisory Firm With Deep Arizona Roots
Pacheco currently serves as the incoming Chair of the Arizona Board of Regents, which oversees the state’s public universities. She also brings 35 years of industry experience to her new venture, including 25 years at Arizona Public Service in executive leadership roles. Through that work, she earned a reputation as a trusted strategist to leaders across the business, political and sports landscapes.
Pacheco Ventures positions itself as a firm that helps clients think ahead, connect intentionally and execute with purpose. The firm works across sectors including business, venture capital, politics, sports and energy. Its approach focuses on identifying opportunity, navigating challenges and building relationships that drive long term impact.
Serving Leaders Across Business, Sports and Policy
Several prominent Arizona figures have already voiced support for the launch. Former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald described Pacheco as someone who brings people together and solves problems with intention. Former Phoenix Suns player Steve Nash echoed that sentiment, noting her ability to pair strategy with action and ensure ideas reach the right audiences. Venture capitalist Jack Selby also emphasized Pacheco’s ability to move seamlessly between professional and civic spaces.
Community Impact Beyond the Boardroom
Beyond her professional work, Pacheco maintains a strong presence in Arizona’s philanthropic community. She supports organizations such as Thunderbird Charities, Jewish Family and Children’s Services and Childhelp. She also works on initiatives that expand opportunities for justice impacted individuals and develop energy saving solutions for data centers. Her leadership roles have included service as President of the Arizona Mexico Commission and Political Affairs Chair for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.
Pacheco described the launch as a natural next step. She expressed pride in the foundation built at Horizon Strategies and excitement about continuing work that strengthens Arizona communities and institutions. With Pacheco Ventures, she aims to help clients build bridges, grow brands and move ideas from concept to completion.
