As autumn settles into the Valley of the Sun, families and friends are gearing up for a seasonal tradition: visiting pumpkin patches. Phoenix and its surrounding areas offer a variety of farms where visitors can visit pumpkin patches, navigate corn mazes, and enjoy festive activities. Here’s a curated list of top pumpkin patches to explore this fall.

1. Vertuccio Farms – Mesa

Running from October 3 to November 2, Vertuccio Farms’ Fall Festival in Mesa features a 5-acre corn maze, pig races, a ropes course, and a petting zoo. With extended evening hours on weekends, it’s an ideal destination for both daytime and nighttime fun.

2. Schnepf Farms – Queen Creek

Schnepf Farms’ Pumpkin & Chili Party runs from October 3 to 31. This family-friendly event includes hayrides, line dancing, bonfires, and live music, combining the best of fall festivities with a touch of local flavor.

3. MacDonald Ranch – Scottsdale

MacDonald’s Ranch hosts its pumpkin patch from October 4 to 31, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Tuesdays). Located in Scottsdale, the ranch blends classic fall fun with western charm. Visitors can enjoy a petting zoo, hay bale maze, train or hayrides to the patch, and carnival-style games. Guests can also try gold panning, target tosses, photo ops, and western-themed games like cow milking and duck races. Pumpkins come in all sizes, from small decorative gourds to large carving pumpkins.

4. Tolmachoff Farms – Glendale

Open throughout October, Tolmachoff Farms offers Pumpkin Days & Corn Maze, featuring a petting zoo, train ride, hay pyramid, and more. It’s a great place for families to enjoy classic fall activities.

5. Mother Nature’s Farm – Gilbert

Operating from September 27 to November 2, Mother Nature’s Farm in Gilbert offers a pumpkin patch stocked with fresh pumpkins daily, ranging from 1 ounce to 500 pounds. Visitors can enjoy hayrides, a straw bale maze, and animal encounters, making it a delightful stop for all ages.

Exploring pumpkin patches in the Valley is a great way to create memories with loved ones while enjoying the crisp Phoenix autumn weather. From navigating corn mazes to savoring seasonal treats and capturing the perfect fall photo, these local farms not only offer fun activities but also embody the true essence of fall in Phoenix.
