Get ready, Arizona—Taco Fest AZ is returning this October with a two-day celebration of tacos, tequila, live music, and culture. Whether you are a taco fanatic or simply looking for a lively weekend outing, this festival promises something for everyone.

What Is Taco Fest AZ?
  • Held at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Taco Fest AZ runs Saturday, October 18 (11am–7pm) and Sunday, October 19 (11am–6pm).
  • The event features over 40 restaurants, food trucks, and street food vendors showcasing all styles of tacos.
  • In addition, the festival delivers live music across multiple DJ stages and a Zimo Main Stage.
Highlights You Can’t Miss
  • $4 Tacos: Every taco vendor offers at least one option at the $4 price point, making it affordable to sample widely.
  • VIP Agave Show: In the VIP area, attendees can enjoy tastings from 20+ brands of tequila and mezcal.
  • “Bar Brawl” Competition: On Sunday at 3pm, celebrity chef Beau MacMillan hosts a cocktail showdown.
  • Lucha Libre Wrestling: Watch exciting wrestling matches throughout both days.
  • Kids Zone & Games: Families can enjoy inflatables, rides, and games—kids 12 & under get in free.
  • Art, Pop-Ups & Mercado: Explore visual art activations, shopping booths, and pop-up experiences.
Why You Should Attend

First, it’s a taco lover’s dream—so many flavors, styles, and creative takes in one place. Second, it’s more than food: with music, tequila, wrestling, art, and fun for kids, the festival offers a full-scale cultural experience. Third, the VIP agave show offers a luxe twist for those who want to elevate the day.

Moreover, Taco Fest AZ boosts the local food scene. It provides local restaurants and small vendors a platform to showcase their fare to a broad audience. It also attracts visitors from across the region, which helps with tourism and awareness of Valley culinary talent.

Tips for a Great Festival Experience
  • Buy tickets online in advance: There is no box office at the festival.
  • Come early and stay hydrated: With Arizona temperatures often between 85–95 °F in October, shade and water are essential.
  • Plan your taco stops: Start with vendors offering $4 tacos to pace your tasting experience.
  • Consider the VIP upgrade: If you enjoy tequila and want a more premium experience, the VIP ticket is worth checking out.
  • Bring comfortable shoes and sunscreen: Much of the festival takes place outdoors.
  • Check schedule for special events: Don’t miss the “Bar Brawl,” the lucha libre shows, or the DJs.
In Summary

Taco Fest AZ offers a dynamic blend of food, culture, music, and family fun. With over 40 vendors, $4 tacos, tequila tastings, performances, and kids’ entertainment, it strikes the perfect balance of flavor and festivity. Mark your calendar for October 18–19 and prepare for a weekend that celebrates the very best of Arizona’s taco scene.
