Celebrate Thanksgiving at the Arcadia Turkey Trot in Phoenix and support Good Soles in providing new shoes for kids in need.

The 2025 Arcadia Turkey Trot Unites Community and Charity

Thanksgiving morning in Phoenix has a tradition that brings together neighbors, families, and friends: the Arcadia Turkey Trot. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and volunteers to gather for a morning of movement, connection, and giving back.

Proceeds from the Arcadia Turkey Trot support Good Soles, a local nonprofit that provides new shoes to children in crisis care across Arizona. Since 2017, Good Soles has given more than 7,200 pairs of shoes to kids who need them most. For many children, receiving new shoes is about more than comfort. It represents confidence, dignity, and the chance to start the school year on equal footing with their peers.

A Thanksgiving Tradition for Everyone

The Arcadia Turkey Trot is open to all ages and fitness levels. Some participants run for time while others walk with strollers, bring along their dogs, or join simply to enjoy the atmosphere. The event creates a space where the community comes together to share the spirit of Thanksgiving in a meaningful way.

Event Details

  • Date: Thanksgiving morning

  • Registration: Adults $40, kids $20, available through November 16

  • Who’s Welcome: Everyone—from first-time walkers to seasoned runners, and volunteers too

Local businesses also play a big role. Sponsorships not only keep the event running but also show how deeply our community values coming together to support kids in need.

Why You Should Join

The Arcadia Turkey Trot combines holiday tradition with community care. By showing up, whether on the course or as a supporter, participants help provide shoes for children across Arizona. Each step on Thanksgiving morning moves the community closer to that goal.

This year, gather your family and friends, register to take part, and celebrate Thanksgiving in a way that supports children and strengthens the neighborhood.
