The Mesa Arts Center once again invites the community to come together for its annual Día de los Muertos Festival. This free event, held October 25–26, 2025, celebrates the rich traditions of the Mexican holiday known as the Day of the Dead. Through art, music, and community, the festival honors loved ones who have passed while showcasing the vibrant culture of Latin America.
A Celebration of Life and Memory
Día de los Muertos is a time for families and friends to gather, reflect, and share traditions that honor loved ones who have passed. At the Mesa Arts Center, visitors can expect ofrendas (altars) decorated with marigolds, candles, and offerings. These artistic tributes create a meaningful space where the community connects across generations and remembers those who came before them.
Performances and Artistry
Each year, the festival dazzles guests with live performances from talented local and international artists. From traditional folklórico dances to mariachi music, every performance reflects the heritage and passion behind this centuries-old tradition. Visitors can also explore art installations, interactive workshops, and family-friendly activities that provide a deeper understanding of Día de los Muertos.
