Funny Business: Photography and Humor

Have your family’s next museum visit leave you laughing in the gallery. Funny Business is where photography’s hidden punchlines and visuals take center stage. This exhibit contains about 70 photographs with four thematic areas: All the World’s a Stage, Inside Jokes, Context is Everything, and Comic Relief. The show highlights how humor can subvert norms, resist injustice, and spark joy in serious times. Each photo gives the audience the opportunity to have their own playful perception on the prompt and commentary. With its range from playful snapshots to political wit, there’s something for every age and interest. The Central Corridor offers charming cafes. This is great for families to have a chat and reflection about the gallery. Funny Business is more than a photo exhibit. It’s an invitation to rediscover the joy and complexity of everyday moments.

Date & Time: Every Sunday starting July 20 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Phoenix Art Museum
