Mornings are the most soothing parts of the day during summers in Phoenix, and the Altadena and Edison splash pads are neighborhood hot spots. They are located within short driving distance to each other and also feature dining areas that are within close proximity to the pads. Both locations feature shaded seating as well as picnic areas. These canopied play areas open at 10 AM and offer a great way for kids to get active while staying cool. Get Creative at the Phoenix Art Museum 

People who love art can visit Phoenix Art Museum which has different art collections from across the world. They also have programs and activities meant for children. In the James K. Ballinger Interactive Gallery, children can explore through touch and play with colorful things which helps them learn. Additionally, the Storytime sessions are an add-on with a literary twist. They are typically open from Wednesday to Sunday. On Wednesdays, between noon and 3pm, you can pay what you want to enter.

Explore Science and Space at the Arizona Science Center 

The Arizona Science Center is arguably one of the best choices for learning while having fun indoors. There are over 300 interactive exhibits to work on, science demonstrations to watch, and an IMAX theater and Dorrance Planetarium to visit. The Center is open from Tuesday to Sunday, with the best time to visit being right when they open to avoid the crowd. The Heard Museum invites families to connect with Native American culture through hands-on family activities, storytelling, and traditional art. Altitude Trampoline Park 

This indoor trampoline park features wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, ninja warrior courses, battle beams, and more!
