The Western Wiffle Ball Classic returns to Scottsdale this fall on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event will bring top-tier talent and family-friendly excitement to the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.
Hosted by Big League Wiffle Ball (BLW), this year’s event marks the sixth annual Western Wiffle Ball Classic, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., fans can expect a full day of fast pitches and unforgettable plays — all set against the backdrop of the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants.
A Big League Vision Born in the Backyard
What began in 2020 as a pandemic project by then-teenager Logan Rose has grown into a national sensation. BLW was launched to promote outdoor activity during a time of social distancing. Today, it boasts a growing fanbase, competitive divisions, and high-profile venues — including last year’s Final Four showdown at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
“When we launched this league, we wanted to give people something to look forward to and a way to stay active during an uncertain time,” said Rose. “Now, it’s grown into one of the most exciting and best-attended amateur sporting events in the United States, and the Western Wiffle Ball Classic is where you can see it all come to life.”
A Full Day of Competition and Community
The 2025 Western Wiffle Ball Classic will feature teams from across the country competing in Recreational and Competitive divisions. Each division differs in strike zones, pitching distances, and allowable equipment. Teams of 3–5 will compete for the trophy and secure a place in league history.
Beyond the tournament, the event will also host a Home Run Derby, allowing players to flex their batting skills and aim for a separate title — and some serious bragging rights.
