Fans of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” are in for a treat as the beloved series comes to life in a breathtaking live concert at ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, AZ. Scheduled for September 7th and 8th, this unique event will blend stunning visuals with a live orchestral performance, offering a fresh way to experience the iconic story of Aang and his friends.

A Musical Journey Through the Four Nations

The concert presents an innovative take on the series by pairing the original soundtrack with nearly two hours of footage from all three seasons. Attendees can expect to see their favorite scenes projected on a full-size screen while the orchestra plays the show’s epic score in perfect sync, amplifying every dramatic moment and emotional beat.

This production is not just about music; it’s an immersive spectacle that incorporates a symphony combining Eastern and Western musical traditions. Taiko drums, erhus, violins, and clarinets will share the spotlight, ensuring that fans are fully immersed in the world of Avatar as the concert follows the storyline in chronological order.

Creative Masterminds Behind the Magic

The concert was carefully crafted by Jeremy Zuckerman, the original award-winning composer of the show, who reimagined and expanded the series’ music specifically for this event. The collaboration with Jeff Adams, the show’s original editor, along with the guidance of creators Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, ensures that the concert stays true to the essence of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” while introducing a new, live dimension to its narrative.
