On Friday, The Quaker Oats Company issued a recall of some granola bars and granola cereals due to the potential presence of salmonella.

All 50 U.S. states, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam and Saipan, have sold a range of Quaker Chewy Bars and Quaker Simply Granola products.

The complete collection of recalled items can be seen here. Any individuals possessing these items should not consume them and throw them away.

For more information or product reimbursement, Quaker Consumer Relations can be reached from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST Monday through Friday at 1-800-492-9322 or by visiting www.quakergranolarecall.com.

The company declared that none of their other Quaker items have been impacted.

The Food and Drug Administration stated that Salmonella infection can be serious and even fatal for people with weak immune systems, such as young children or the elderly.

Patients may experience a fever, feeling of nausea, throwing up, and abdominal distress in addition to experiencing looseness of the bowels.

No accounts of illness have been brought to Quaker’s attention concerning the products included in this recall
