With the recent Barbie buzz over the movie that is being released this weekend, did you know that Barbie’s Beach House is coming to Glendale?
Construction is currently underway for the Mattel Adventure Park. The state’s only amusement park will be coming to Glendale and will sit just south of the State Farm Stadium, in conjunction with the new VAI Resort. The Mattel Adventure Park is a first-of-its-kind with the combined hotel and amphitheater.
An updated timeline of when the park will be completed and ready for customers has not yet been released.
However, when completed, fans of all ages can plan for some adventure fun in Mattel’s Adventure Park. The area will feature many Barbie-themed activities, including Barbie’s Beach House. This will be a true dream destination for Barbie fans, as you get to indulge in a signature pink beverage on the third-story rooftop of Barbie’s very own Beach House.
And when you go, you won’t want to miss the checking out Barbie’s iconic closet which will feature a very neat hologram technology that will bring Barbie to life.
Park planners have also released the park will include several Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends attractions. Once completed, the park will cover nine acres and will feature over 160-thousand square feet of air-conditioned space, which is vitally important during the hot summer months! Guests will definitely need a place to cool off in.
Originally the resort and amusement park was slated to be completed in 2023. The VAI resort website now says coming in 2024.
