Share Your Creative Donut Flavor With Bashas’ And Win Free Donuts For A Year

Bashas’ is seeking creative, tasty ideas for their next donut flavors and if your donut is chosen, you could win free donuts for a year.

Bashas’ is hosting their 8th Annual Donut Flavor Craze contest in which they are asking Arizonans to help create a new donut flavor that will hit their bakery shelves.

The deadline to submit is quickly approaching. All ideas must be submitted online through May 13. The contest offers two categories for winners, youths ages 8 to 17 and adults 18 or older.

This year’s contest’s theme is “Retro vs. Future” and Bashas’ is hoping for ideas inspired by the classic donuts of the past that take on a more modern, experimental flavor combinations.

To enter the contest, contestants must submit a 100-word summary of their donut, the ingredients and a suggested name for their donut.

One child and one adult will be chosen on May 30 to have their ideas brought to life and sold in Arizona Bashas’ bakeries in June. The winners will also be titled “Bashas’ 2023 Donut Ambassadors” and receive $500 in gifts, including a Bashas’ gift card, baking supplies and free donuts for a year.
