Geeks Night Out Takes Over Tempe March 22

The City of Tempe invites businesses, organizations and schools with a STEAM focus to participate in this year’s Geeks Night Out, presented by State Farm. This free, engaging event will take place on Wednesday, March 22 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Tempe Community Complex, 3500 S. Rural Road.

Geeks Night Out will have something for everyone. Merging fun and education, the event showcases everything from robotics and coding exercises to forensic crime scenes and art displays. More than 50 organizations will bring hands-on interactive booths, cool science experiments and show stopping activities.

If your business or organization is interested in participating, please reserve your booth space by Monday, March 6. Visit tempe.gov/geeks and fill out the form to secure your spot. It is free to become an exhibitor.

Geeks Night Out is Tempe’s tribute to everyone who loves science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM.) The Arizona SciTech Festival signature event allows everyone to discover the science in everyday things. It is a community collaboration between Tempe Elementary School District,  Tempe Union High School DistrictEast Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), Arizona State UniversityRio Salado CollegeUniversity of Advancing Technology (UAT), local businesses, organizations and the City of Tempe.

An estimated 2,000 people attend Geeks Night Out every year, providing a tremendous opportunity for organizations to share important STEAM message.
