It’s estimated that more than 25,000 people come to Scottsdale to see the amazing bikes, listen to great live music and enjoy the epic party that is Arizona Bike Week.

Based on a gate survey conducted at Arizona Bike Week’s 2022 event and extra data compiled by the City of Scottsdale Department of Tourism, we now understand just how big of a deal these revelers are for the city of Scottsdale.

For instance, for 2022’s Arizona Bike Week, there were 27,340 unique attendees (not counting multiple visits), with 39% coming in from outside the area. 26% of those, or 3,839 people, chose to stay in Scottsdale, and nearly 80% of those people staying in our hotels. This led to a total of 11,008 Scottsdale hotel room nights booked as a result of Arizona Bike Week.

With a median daily trip spending of $344, this led to $3,786,672 of direct economic impact. A multipliers effect would increase the impact to eight figures.

In addition to this, there were 2,612 camping nights spent at WestWorld, which contributed $11,543 to the city in the form of the Scottsdale bed tax.

These numbers do not include meals, beverages and gifts that visitors consumed and purchased during their time here, which undoubtedly led to considerably more income to local businesses and increased revenue for the city.

This year’s Arizona Bike Week will be held at WestWorld of Scottsdale Wednesday, March 29th through Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. They are expecting an even more robust audience, leading to an even stronger economic impact for the city.

With an expected attendance of 75,000 people, AZ Bike Week is in the top 3 for the country’s top biker rallies. Along with incredible bikes and amazing people watching, this year’s festivities are highlighted by excellent live music headliners, such as Billy Idol, STAIND, MEGADETH and Texas Hippie Coalition. Whether you are coming by motorcycle or car, there is something for everyone with exciting stunt shows, charity rides, events, concerts, contests and great things to see and do every day.

You can come early to check out the rest of the rally festivities in the PowerYard where gates open Wednesday and Thursday at noon and 10am Friday through Sunday. Tickets are just $15 for the entire five days of PowerYard admission. Concert tickets are sold separately and include complimentary PowerYard admission.

For those who want to camp, there are RV and tent campsites available as well.

Other fan favorites to check out at AZ Bike Week, the T-Bar Trail Ride, Dry Heat Run, Happy Hour Parties, After Hours Parties, Stunt Shows, Bike Shows, Factory Demo Rides, plus bands from the local music scene performing day and night in the PowerYard.

WestWorld of Scottsdale is located at 16601 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.
