Uber Testing New Safety Feature In Phoenix Market

Beginning today, Phoenix Uber users will have access to a new in-app safety feature.

Uber is expanding the pilot testing on a safety feature which will allow both drivers and riders in Phoenix to record audio before or during a trip. The new feature is being used to encourage a safe and comfortable interaction, while adding a layer of safety to trips.

Phoenix is one of 6 cities in the U.S. where the feature is being rolled out and tested.
