The Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market is making a move and will soon have a new home to welcome customers at.

Starting in May, patrons can enjoy the new location of the farmers market outside of the Phoenix Bioscience Core, which is a few blocks away from the market’s former location on Central Ave and McKinley.

The popular Farmers Market in partnership with the City of Phoenix and managed by non-profit organization Community Food Connections will open at its new location at 720 N. Fifth St. starting Saturday, May 7, operating from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Established in the Valley in 2005, the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market will move into a larger location. This will allow expansion opportunities and provide loyal customers with more vendors in the coming months.

The current market has more than 80 farmers and vendors selling fresh Arizona-grown produce, ready to enjoy food, arts and more. The weekly outdoor event brings over 3,000 shoppers from across the Valley to buy locally grown produce and unique products while enjoying live music and entertainment in the diverse vibe of Downtown Phoenix.

The new market location will be in the south parking lot on the Phoenix Bioscience Core. This location will have plenty of free public parking available on the northeast corner of 5th Street and McKinley, free and metered street parking and limited time parking validation at the Filmore Parking Garage.
