How To Order Your Free COVID-19 Tests & Obtain Free N95 Masks

The federal government is offering Americans free COVID-19 tests.

Supplies will be limited to four tests per household and will ship within 7-12 days of ordering. Americans can go to the federal website covidtests.gov to place an order.

Health officials are encouraging everyone to go through the simple process of ordering  the tests even if they haven’t been exposed. The tests are good to have on hand if you need to test yourself or someone in your family.

President Joe Biden recently announced he will purchase an additional 500 million at-home tests for distribution.

Free N95 Masks

The Biden administration announced this week plans to make 400 million N95 masks available for free to Americans starting next week.

The White House said the masks are available from the government’s Strategic National Stockpile, which has more than 750 million of the masks on hand.

The masks will be distributed and available for pickup across the country at pharmacies and community health centers.

The White House’s new effort to comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently updated the guidance that Americans use surgical-grade masks over cloth masks.

It is believed that upgrading to masks that offer better protection will help prevent the spread of the contagious omicron variant, which is now causing record transmission of the virus.
