Four Arizona Families Compete on ABC’s ‘The Great Christmas Light Fight’
‘Tis the season for lighting it up with holiday décor! A few Arizona families are serving up a little extra something special this holiday season and are battling for $50,000 and the Light Fight Trophy!
The season finale of ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” will feature four Arizona families who are spreading a little extra holiday cheer through their elaborate Christmas light displays at their homes. Their designs will be featured on the show this Thursday.
The episode will feature two families from the Valley and two from Tucson.
The show on Thursday will feature lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and famed interior designer Taniya Nayak responsible for judging the two displays in metro Phoenix area and two homes from Tucson.
Valley Homes
The Sepanek family home in the Arcadia area of Phoenix features a nostalgic holiday display with 275,000 lights throughout their property. Their display includes flying reindeer that soar 75 feet above multiple window displays. Nearly every inch of their house is covered in Christmas lights.

The Tasker family has been putting on their display in Laveen for nearly three decades. They have over 400 handmade cartoon cutouts and Zooland animals. Their display is made from repurposed pieces of scrap metal and old appliances. They try to add about 25 new display items each year. Patti and Mel Tasker are known for their display and are considered legends in Laveen.

Tucson Homes
The Morales family home in Tucson lights up their neighborhood with 300,000 pixels that is synchronized to music along with snow they bring from the mountains!

For the Moussette family, this will be their 32nd year of bringing joy to their community through their holiday spirit that consists of over 150 handmade cutouts and a 20-foot Santa Claus cactus.
