On Monday, Arizona Snowbowl announced the opening day of their 2021-22 season has been delayed due to unusually warm temperatures.

The Snowbowl team has been working tirelessly to produce snow with its state-of-the-art snowmaking system as the temperatures fall, but unfortunately with the higher temperatures, it is not sticking around long enough for the slopes to open.

Arizona Snowbowl was set to open this Friday, however, the season has been delayed until further notice.

Officials with the ski venue is already offering some insight as to what the beginning of the season will look like. When they are able to open, the terrain will be weather-dependent and is expected to be limited. If you are new to skiing stay home! There will not be any beginner terrain available on opening day.
