Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade In Need of ‘Half-Pint’ Judges

The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade Presented by Lerner & Rowe is in need of some judges! And not just any judge will do! No one loves a parade more than children, so they are looking for Arizona’s finest to judge from a kids’ perspectives to choose the best parade entries. Arizona children can now enter to be an Arizona Milk Producers Half-Pint Judge for next month’s parade.

Arizona children entering must be in either third, fourth or fifth grade and have to submit a one-minute video or less that shows their enthusiasm for their favorite dairy product.

Contestants have until the deadline of Nov. 11 to submit their entry. Those chosen to be half-pint judges will get a special experience at the Fiesta Bowl Parade on Dec. 18. It’ll include a preparade VIP breakfast, a media appearance, a seat at the exclusive judges’ table, a local celebrity meet and greet and parade tickets for the family. They’ll also have a dairy farm experience at a later date.

To celebrate the Fiesta Bowl’s Golden Anniversary, the parade theme is “Gold Standard: A Commitment to CommUNITY,” in honor of the organization’s impact and support to bring Arizona communities together for 50 years.

Alice Cooper has been selected as this year’s grand marshal for the Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade. The parade will honor the Fiesta Bowl Organization’s 50-year history on the traditional two-mile march through Central Phoenix. The parade will feature a new date, prior to the holidays, on Saturday, December 18, at 10 a.m. The parade will air on 3TV.
