September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Win a Car and Support Arizona Families

Did you know, 1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before they are 20 years old? Children’s Cancer Network is an Arizona non-profit with a mission to support children and families throughout their cancer journey with programs and services designed to provide financial assistance, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, and create an awareness of issues they face related to childhood cancer.

Their purpose is to support children and families throughout their cancer journey, filling the gaps where hospitals and insurance leave off. Gas and food cards, wigs, adopt-a-family programs, scholarships, counseling and support programs, family activities and more provide families with the assistance they need through one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Win a Car – Support Arizona Families

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Valley Toyota Dealers has teamed up with Children’s Cancer Network on a raffle to help thousands of young cancer-fighting superheroes and their families. During the month of September, a 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE valued at more than $40,000 could be yours just for purchasing a raffle ticket.  But this isn’t just any ticket. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Arizona’s childhood cancer kids and families in need. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50.  Just 8000 tickets will be sold, so get your tickets today.

Children’s Cancer Network’s Pinwheels for Hope! 

The cost of childhood cancer is significant due to the cost itself as well as the length of cancer treatment.  COVID has added significantly to the financial distress for childhood cancer families due to work furloughs and layoffs.  With almost 900 children in cancer treatment at any time in Arizona, please join us in raising the much needed funds for gas cards, food cards and basic needs for these families.  Please considering partnering with Children’s Cancer Network today to bring hope to Arizona families battling childhood cancer by participating in Children’s Cancer Network Pinwheel’s for Hope Campaign.  The program runs September 1st through September 30^th.
