Let freedom ring! As we saw 4th of July celebrations and firework displays canceled last year, Americans are more than ever looking forward to celebrating America’s Independence Day. Fireworks are scheduled to light the skies next month and cities across the Valley have a variety of planned Fourth of July festivities.

This year, there is a mix of experiences with some events being drive-in and in person. Buckeye, Chandler, and Mesa will have drive-in events, Scottsdale is offering both drive-in and in-person, and Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Goodyear, Peoria, Surprise will have traditional in-person events.

For those looking for the annual traditional celebrations in Tempe and Phoenix, take note. The Kiwanis Club of Tempe will not be hosting its event at Tempe Town Lake this year. In addition, the City of Phoenix has a “pause” in place on special events at city parks.
