Making their long-awaited return to the NBA postseason, the Suns faced the reigning NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. Devin Booker scored 34 points, Deandre Ayton had 21 points and 16 rebounds, securing the Suns win in their first playoff, beating the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers 99-90 in Game 1 on Sunday.
The Rally in The Valley is officially on and the return to the playoffs has ignited Phoenix.
