Arizonans planning a Hawaiian vacation this summer and beyond will have more nonstop flight options, courtesy of Southwest Airlines.

Southwest announced plans Thursday for year-round routes between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and four destinations in the island state.

On June 27, the Dallas-based airline will launch twice-daily nonstop service between Sky Harbor and Honolulu, Oahu, and once-daily flights between Phoenix and Kahului, Maui.

Two more Phoenix-Hawaii routes will be added in September, with service to Lihue, Kauai, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and to Kona on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Tickets can be booked online now, with limited deals as low as $159 each way.

Southwest also announced plans for new nonstop Hawaii service for Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Until the new routes debut, Phoenix’s Southwest customers have to stop in California on their way to Hawaii.

“We’ve grown since launching Phoenix in 1982 to offer service currently to nearly 60 cities nonstop on more than 180 departures a day, and Hawaii service on Southwest is a longtime request,” Andrew Watterson, the airline’s chief commercial officer and executive vice president, said in a press release.

Southwest will join American and Hawaiian airlines in offering nonstop service between Sky Harbor and Hawaii.

American has Phoenix flights to Honolulu, Kahului, Lihue and Kona, while Hawaiian provides service to Honolulu and Kahului.
