You can get your steps in while also raising money for lung health at an upcoming American Lung Association in Arizona event.

The organization’s Fight For Air Climb will take place on March 27 for the first time at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Registration can be completed online through March 24. Registration is $35 and includes a $100 fundraising minimum.

Participants of all ages can run or walk the 1,224 stairs inside the stadium’s lower deck at their own pace. For an added challenge, participants can continue climbing to the upper deck stairs for a total of 2,620.

“During this time, it is more important than ever to support lung health,” Elizabeth Walton, executive director of the Lung Association in Arizona, said in a press release. “So on March 27, we are climbing to bring an end to COVID-19, lung cancer and lung disease, and ensure healthy air for all.”

A “Climb Your Way” virtual option for those who can’t make it to the physical event will also be offered, according to the release.

Money raised from the event will fund the association’s efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease.

The event typically takes place at CityScape in Phoenix but was moved to the stadium for safety amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the organization said.

Masks and social distancing will be required at the event.
