Waste Management Phoenix Open: What To Know If You Go

The significantly scaled back 2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open tees-off this week in Scottsdale and it is going to look very different than in years past.

Due to the pandemic, the tournament is only allowing a daily attendance of 5,000 spectators. CDC approved safety protocols will be in place, and many of the popular hospitality suites and big name entertainment at the Birds Nest will not be happening.

If you are one of the lucky ones that has a ticket and will be attending the Open this year, here is what you need to know:

COVID-19 SAFETY

All attendees will undergo a temperature check at the time of entrance. Attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times. Click here to learn more.

16TH HOLE REIMAGINED

The famous Par 3 16th Hole, undoubtably one of the coveted tickets of the yearly tournament, will still be part of the 2021 tournament. However, it is little smaller with only one-story. The venue is open-air and has a limit of 2,000 people.

Individual tickets to the 16th Hole are available and include admission, food, and drink. They vary between $600-$650 per person (two tickets minimum).

WHO’S IS TEEING IT UP IN THE PRO-AM THIS YEAR?

The Annexus Pro-Am is on Wednesday and pairs celebrities, athletes, and other high-profile people with professional players for a round of golf.

This year’s lineup includes Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Phelps, Darius Rucker, Archie Bradley, Nolan Arenado, Alexandra O’Laughlin, Rob Riggle, Zac Gallen, and Gerina Piller, among others.
